I initially studied Art and Psychology at university and spent 25 fulfilling years as an Art teacher and Head of Department at a London secondary school -a role I was deeply passionate about.

Seeking a lifestyle shift, I’ve channelled my creative energy into upholstery and design. Enrolling in the AMUSF course at London Metropolitan University allowed me to learn from industry experts, honing my skills in all aspects of upholstery, from traditional techniques to contemporary innovations.

I prioritise environmental sustainability in both my personal and professional life, striving to minimise waste wherever possible. By reupholstering and restoring furniture, I aim to extend its life, ensuring it remains durable and comfortable for generations to come
